Dancer, choreographer and teacher of tango, is a member of the Contemporary Dance Group of the San Martin Theater and appeared from 1986 to 1990 in the legendary Broadway show “Tango Argentino,” directed by Claudio Segovia and Hector Orezzoli. She was co-creator and director of the “Tango x 2” Company along with Miguel Angel Zotto, and creator of the shows Tramatango and Romance de Barrio, and choreographed the inaugural show “Piazzolla Tango” in Buenos Aires. She performed and choreographed the video documentary “Milena Dances the Tango … with Ezequiel Farfaro” among various other works. In 1991 she won the Maria Ruanova Award, Argentina’s highest and most important award for dance. She also received the Academic Honor from the National Academy of Tango of Argentina. Milena gives seminars on tango and choreography, and conducts research and writes on the evolution of tango.
